Reiner THE SLAVIC SOUL – evoked and performed by Montreal’s Reiner Trio on Saturday, March 30 at 8 pm.

As you may recall, violinist Laurence Kayaleh and pianist Paul Stewart performed as a duo previously on our stage. They will again play together in Dvorak’s Four Romantic Pieces for Violin and Piano. Cellist Elizabeth Dolin will perform Chopin’s Cello Sonata with Paul Stewart. The trio ensemble will play Rachmaninoff’s Trio Elegiaque and Anton Arensky’s Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor.

All four works are deeply Romantic and beautiful, performed by three great, virtuosic artists.

It will be recorded for later broadcast by CBC.
