Classicism with Fire

Formed as part of a chamber music class at The Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance’s middle school, the Ariel Quartet travelled together to study at the New England Conservatory. Today, the Quartet is a rising star on the international chamber music scene, hailed for their “utter musicality and remarkable interpretive power” (American Record Guide). Recently awarded the prestigious Cleveland Quartet Award, the Ariel serves as the faculty quartet-in-residence at the University of Cincinnati’s College – Conservatory of Music. “(T)hey crank out virtuosity by the bucketful and passion by the yard” (The Washington Post).
