COMMENTS:
Superb. Outstanding. We run out of superlatives. This quartet certainly is the crème de la crème. Wonderful blend of feeling and great range of emotion. Dvořák – some of the sweetest music this side of heaven. The achingly beautiful melody that returns often in the first movement melts the heart. Dvořák certainly knew how to write melodies and this group knows how to bring them to life. Mr. Kim’s sensitive piano playing certainly enhanced the performance of the piano. (VH)

Very hot and dry in the room. The Beethoven String Quartet was not too accessible in a concert format, especially with stand lights only. Found much greater success with the Dvořák. (KK)

Wonderful! (DW)

The concert itself was wonderful. We were, however, dismayed to see many audience members arrive during the first piece. This should not be allowed! It’s much more disruptive than the unwrapping of a lozenge. (Anon)
